To continue going off of my last post, virtual reality is a very forward idea. Most people who grew up watching science fiction or even various anime know about this. It's something that as children, you want to experience. I recently found an article where Samsung has integrated their technology into head gear to immerse you into a virtual world.
By putting on the gear you can experience a 360 view of a made up world. Although it only immerses your vision, it's just the beginning. Virtual technology is still advancing, and hopefully one day it can be a fully immersed experience.
One thing I have noticed is that although is amazing technology I don't think many people would use it. It would inconvenience them rather than benefit their life. I think that most people who would use it are the people who are into gaming, or just want to experience a new world. It wouldn't be a very popular concept among your average person.
One day will this technology actually benefit your average person?
Or will it just be to improve games and entertainment?
