Observation activity Blog #3

Once again I am here to talk about virtual reality.  You might be asking yourself, "why does she keep revisiting this topic?" or "isn't this getting old?"  You may think so, but I do find this to be very interesting so I shall write about again.

This time though I am here to talk about actual reactions I have gotten from people when I bring up virtual reality.  Some think it's a cool idea, and others find to be overly useless.  The people who think it's a good idea are a lot like myself.  Into video games and grew up in the science fiction world, and someday want to be a part of that.  The ones who thought it to be a waste of time were more "practical" about how they want to spend their life.

They said, and I'm paraphrasing, "Why would I want to use my time to go to a nonexistent place when the world already so nice?"  Or something along those lines.  They found it to be a very poor use of time, but then again they are probably also against any type of video game as well.  I do think it's interesting as to why they think that way.  They aren't the type of people who like entertainment.  Don't get me wrong, they love movies and what not, but they don't care for the cool parts of it.

I was glad to have heard a different perspective about virtual reality.  I would love to do more research into all sides of it.  I'm all for it, but learning the pros and cons of it would be cool to know.
